OWNER / BEAUTY THERAPIST

I'm Chelsea, proud owner of Shepparton Skin & Body since Feb 2018. It's been quite a journey! 


With 14 years in the beauty industry, I always aimed for more than just the basics. 

Since taking over, we envisioned expanding into the latest trends and technologies, focusing on quick and effective results without compromising on relaxation. Transitioning from traditional "spa" treatments to more clinical, results-driven services was a game-changer. 


In 2020, amid COVID, we invested in our first laser machine for hair and pigment treatments  in fitzpatrick skin types I. II & III—turns out, it was the best choice. The demand led to more investments, with our second machine in 2022 allowing us to treat ALL skin types, and our third investment, the amazing Pico laser, in June 2023. 


With our incredible skincare range, Germaine De Capuccini, we achieved Gold and Platinum Partner status in 2021 and 2022, respectively, making us one of the top stockists in Australasia. 


I'm passionate about the results our skincare and laser machines offer, and I love helping clients achieve their goals.

Morae

 CLINIC MANAGER / QUALIFIED BEAUTY THERAPIST 

Meet Morae! She became a crucial part of our team, mid 2023 and has been loved by the team, and our clients ever since! 

As a fully qualified beauty therapist, she underwent training to meet our standards while completing her beauty therapy course at TAFE. 

Morae is fascinated by the diverse opportunities within the beauty industry, igniting her passion. 

Morae  loves treating clients with skin concerns, laser hair removal and laser skin treatments, as well as lash lifts and waxing. 


Morae showed such enthusiasm and drive that she was appointed clinic manager mid 2024.

Sarah

QUALIFIED BEAUTY THERAPIST 

Meet Sarah! Sarah became a client FAV joining the Shepp Skin and Body Team in November 2024.

Sarah is a fully qualified beauty therapist, with loads of experience after running her own beauty business for 4 years, before going on maternity leave to have her little man.


Sarah is an expert in lash lifts; and absolutely loves facial treatments, and helping clients with their skin concerns. She is quickly becoming the next superstar laser tech.

TASHA

QUALIFIED BEAUTY THERAPIST

Meet Tasha. Tasha has joined us upon completeing her cert III in Beauty Services  qualification at Go-Tafe Shepparton!

She is an absolute superstar, loving all things beauty related.

Tasha is treating clients with us everyday while undertaking her cert IV units in Beauty. 

Tasha is successfully qualified in all face and body waxing, tinting, lash extensions, lash lifts, facial treatments, massage, and tanning.

  • Making an Appointment

    Appointments can be made via our online booking system OR by calling (03) 5821 0271.


    Upon booking either online or via phone, you will be required to pay a deposit.


    No appointment is confirmed until payment is made either over the phone or by a secure payment link (24hr expiry).


    This deposit will be held on your account.

    If you need to cancel, and you give more than 24hrs notice, your deposit will be refunded or

    reallocated to your rescheduled time. If less than 24 hours notice is given, or if you are a no show to your appointment - your entire deposit is forfeited.


    We assure you that our number one priority and passion is our clients. We put our heart and soul into trying our very hardest to be the most exceptional clinic. Everything we do is with honesty, integrity and always in the best interest of our clients, so we assure you there is no money making involved with the deposit system it is simply a gesture of respect for our time.

  • Appointment Reminders

    We try our hardest to avoid no shows and late cancellations - in doing this - we will send a confirmation SMS text message to the number provided, 24 hours prior as a reminder of your booking time.

    If you cannot make it to that appointment, this is the time to call our clinic to cancel or change your appointment - and avoid late fees. If you fail to confirm with the text message sent, you will receive a follow up courtesy call asking to confirm or reschedule.


    We feel we give plenty of chances to give notice of cancellations before the day of the

    appointment.

  • Running Late

    Please be courteous of your therapist and other clients. We request that you arrive a minimum of 5 minutes prior to your treatment.


    If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment we will more than likely have to reschedule your appointment, depending on the service.  


    If this is the case, please refrain from becoming agitated at your therapist - we allocated your booking time specifically to you.  


    If you run late, there are some treatments that we simply cannot rush due to effected end results or risks. 


    You may also be charged for your original appointment time as this time was allocated to you. Essentially you have been a no-show. 


    If you know you will be running a few minutes late, please call ahead! 


  • Online Booking

    When booking an appointment  online at our clinic we kindly ask you for a 50% deposit to secure that booking.  


     In paying your deposit you are agreeing to give us a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to reschedule.  


     We assure you that our number one priority and passion is our clients. We put our heart and soul into trying our very hardest to be the most exceptional clinic. 


    Everything we do is with honesty, integrity and always in the best interest of our clients, so we assure you there is no money making involved with the deposit system it is simply a gesture of respect for our time.  


  • Cancellations / No Shows

    In order to respect the time of  our other clients and staff, we simply ask that you notify us of a cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.      


    Less than 24 hours notice will result in a 50% late cancellation fee or $50 whichever is greater.


    No shows will be charged at 100% of the appointment missed, prior to rebooking. Along with a deposit for all future appointments.


    If there is a no show or cancellation more than twice, you may be serviced on a prepaid basis only. In the case of pre-paid treatments, if you fail to show to your appointment, 1 x package for the full treatment will be forfeited.


    In paying your deposit at the time of booking, you are agreeing to our policies and to give us a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.  


    If you provide more than 24 hours, your online deposit will be fully refunded or reallocated to a future appointment, whichever you choose.  

    Our cancellation policy also applies to Gift Cards. Clients who fail to provide 24 hours notice of their cancellation will forfeit 50% of the treatment total and a no show will forfeit the full cost. 


    24 hours notice allows us ample time to fill the appointment should you need to cancel your service.


  • Deposits & Prepaid Appointments

    By paying a deposit or prepaying for your next visit, you are agreeing to give us 24 hours notice of any cancellation or rescheduling. 

    If a client is a no show, deposits or prepayment will be forfeited due to failure to give adequate notice. 


     If 24 hours notice is given, the deposit can either be refunded, or transferred to a future appointment; whichever you choose.

  • Prepaid Packages

    If you pre-pay for treatments you will save a set $ or % discount according to the pre-payment schedule.  


    There is a no refund policy in pre-pays and they are not transferable to other individuals or  redeemable on other treatments. The service prepaid must be redeemed.

    Pre-pays have a 24 month expiry date. 


    A minimum 24 hours’ notice is required for any pre-paid appointment cancellations.  

     If you cancel a pre-paid appointment within 24 hours, a late cancellation fee will apply. 


    If you are a no show to a prepaid package appointment, the treatment booked in will be forfeited from your prepaid package. 

     You agree to these terms by purchasing pre-paid treatments.


  • Tiered Pricing

    You may notice that we have adapted to tiered pricing 2 years ago, in 2022.  We made the decision to make tiered pricing a thing in our clinic due to taking on trainees and freshly qualified therapists. 


    This is now being seen across the hair and beauty industry world with from $X.XX in a lot of our treatments. 


    The reasoning behind this is if for example you booked in for an eyebrow wax and tint with a trainee who is learning, we would never expect you to pay the same price as seeing a senior therapist/manager with years experience and visa versa. 


    When it comes down to it, it’s essentially a simple rule of supply and demand: therapists who are more experienced and in demand are priced a little higher. Those just starting, or who aren’t as experienced, command a lower price.

  • Appointment Reminders & Cancellation Policy


    To help you stay on track with your skin and/or laser journey, we’ll send a reminder via SMS 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.


    We understand that plans can change, and kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another client. With sufficient notice, your booking deposit or prepaid treatment will be fully retained.

    Please note: Cancellations via social media will not be accepted.


    This policy ensures our team’s time is respected and protects the integrity of our appointment schedule.

  • Respecting Your Time & Ours – Our Cancellation Policy

    At Shepparton Skin and Body, we value your time and are committed to providing every client with the highest level of care. To ensure smooth scheduling and fairness for all, we maintain a strict 24-hour cancellation policy.


    A non-refundable 50% booking fee is required for all appointments. This fee will be applied to your treatment on the day.


    If you cancel or do not attend your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, your booking fee will be forfeited. In the case of prepaid treatments, a session will be deducted as the cancellation fee.

  • Refund Policy

    At Shepparton Skin & Body, we operate in alignment with Australian Consumer Law, which does not require businesses to offer refunds for change of mind.


    When purchasing a prepaid treatment or package, clients acknowledge and agree that all payments are non-refundable, even in the event of changing personal circumstances, inability to attend, or early termination of the package. This includes change-of-mind decisions.


    By proceeding with payment, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms.

  • Prepaid Treatments & Packages Policy

    All prepaid treatments, packages, and services at Shepparton Skin & Body are non-refundable, as outlined in our refund policy. By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. This policy is clearly stated in our initial consultation forms, consent forms, and on our website under Clinic Policies.


    Prepaid treatments are non-transferable between clients or treatment areas. Should you choose to discontinue a prepaid service, we’re happy to transfer the remaining dollar value toward another treatment or product within the clinic.


    Please note: If you miss an appointment or cancel within 24 hours and do not have a deposit on file, one prepaid treatment will be forfeited as a cancellation fee, in consideration of our therapists’ time.

  • Understanding Our Tiered Pricing Structure

    In 2022, we introduced a tiered pricing model to better reflect the varying levels of experience within our team. This approach—now widely adopted across the beauty and wellness industry—ensures fair pricing based on therapist expertise.


    For example, if you book an eyebrow wax and tint with a trainee therapist, the cost will be lower than a session with a senior or highly experienced team member. This allows us to support the growth of our emerging therapists while offering you choice and flexibility.


    Ultimately, our pricing reflects both skill level and demand—ensuring you always receive great value, no matter who you see.

  • Child Safety & Clinic Environment Policy

    At Shepparton Skin & Body, creating a safe, calm, and professional environment is a top priority—for the wellbeing of both our clients and staff.


    As we use Class 4 medical-grade lasers, light-based technologies, and advanced electrical equipment throughout the clinic, the treatment environment must remain strictly controlled. For safety reasons, children under 12 are not permitted in treatment rooms or left unattended within the clinic.


    While we understand that childcare can sometimes be challenging, our team isn't always able to supervise children during your appointment. We kindly ask that you try to make alternative arrangements to ensure the safety and comfort of all clients and staff.

  • Gift Voucher Policy

    Shepparton Skin & Body gift vouchers are available for all treatments and dollar amounts excluding injectables. They can be purchased in clinic and online. 


    Vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed before the expiry date.


    Please note:


    • Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
    • Lost or misplaced vouchers cannot be replaced.
    • “No-show” appointments will result in the voucher being voided.
    • You must present your voucher at the time of your appointment for it to be redeemed.

  • Promotions, Rewards & Complimentary Credits

    From time to time, Shepparton Skin & Body offers special promotions and discounts on select treatments and products.


    Please note that earned rewards, complimentary credits, and gifted discounts cannot be applied to already discounted services, products, or packages. These benefits are valid on full-priced treatments and products only and cannot be combined or "stacked" with other offers.
